My name is Abdelrahman and I was born in 09.1987 in Egypt. That makes me 22 years old.

I had a successful childhood, I always ranked 1st in my school. And always was the quiet polite guy. Also, I had a religious childhood and always was proud of my religion, my culture and my country. When i was young i wanted to become an Aircraft Fighter! or a Scientist!

I also like sports, just get back to playing Kung Fu after stopping for 2 years to take care of my IT skills first. I love swimming, shooting and horse riding, but never had the time to practice all of them, wishing to have it in the future. I’m also, passionate about languages learning and currently learning German & French with plans to expand my abilities in different languages in the future.

I’m a smart geek and proud of it, after reading How To Become a Hacker? many years ago I decided to become one. Hacker means a creative individual with coding skills, by the way.

I decided to become my own boss at the age of 19, so started Al-Adham Web Solutions and worked as a freelancer for 3 years before formally launching it as a formal business organization.

Most people find my name long & difficult for non-Arabic speakers. so, feel free to use Abdo, as my nickname.

Professional

By 2001 (i.e. 14 years old). I fell in love with computers, as I took a general maintenance course on how to fix computer Hardware & Software problems. Then, I started learning Graphics and had a Photoshop, Freehand, CorelDraw & Flash courses on CDs and started out in Graphic Design as a hobby.

I also started experimenting with HTML and Web Design and get my first web page online. Then, Started practicing Touch Typing and get my typing speed up to 50 word per minute. That gave me confidence and started being known as the computer guru.

By 07.2004 (i.e. more than 16 years old). I finished my secondary education and joined a group of enthusiastic youth to develop Egypt, the Arab & Muslim Area called “Life Makers”. I knew about NLP, Leadership, Team Building, Communication Skills, Presentation Skills & much much more.

By 09.2004 (i.e. 17 years old). entered Faculty of Engineering Cairo University. After the preparation year (i.e. 09.2005) I entered Mechanical Eng. Dept. and still currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design & Production Engineering. And planning to complete my academic studies in the Mechatronics Engineering field.

By 07.2005 (i.e. more than 17 years old). I started a software development course and professionally learnt. VB 6, VB.NET, C#, ADO, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, Access, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, Protection Programming, Crystal Reports, Wscript and even the old Clipper programming for DOS applications. At the same time used the skills I’ve gained in developing a number of software applications for different businesses, applications listed below. ( the course continued till 03.2007 )

By 10.2006 (i.e. 19 years old). I joined a workshop In the faculty named ABC ( The Art Of Business Creation ) where I started learning Entrepreneurship. Business planning, Marketing And different concepts required for a successful Entrepreneur.

By 10.2006 (i.e. 19 years old). I started the way to run my own web solutions business. Since then I’m living in the Geek heavens. I’m being trained on Illustrator, Photoshop, Colors, Typography, Layout, Usability, Accessibility, XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, Ruby On Rails, Analysis, Database Design, UML, eBusiness, eCommerce, and much more.

By 10.2007 (i.e. 20 years old). I joined a workshop named ProMan or ( Project Managers ) and I started learning the PMBOK. and enjoyed project management related activities. games, projects and dynamic sessions with my friends.

By 02.2008 I participated in one of the PMI registered PM training providers PromaStar. Currently I use BaseCamp as the main project management tool and developing interest in the Agile project management system.

By 03.2008 I did my first project as a freelance Event Designer by designing “Being Muslim In Europe” Photo Exhibition by Ahmed Krausen in Cairo.

By 04.2008 I started (as planned for 2008 goals) to take my programming & software development skills to the next level. I studied Database Design, and currently studying for MCTS Certification, and in the near future will start studying UML. that takes me from being a software developer to a software engineer. which is also required for a successful Mechatronics Engineer. it’s all linked together

By 09.2008 I started joining professional organization, in my related fields of interest, I’ve join ASME and ToastMasters and joining IEEE and PMI.

By 04.2009 I started getting my hands dirty in Multimedia Production (Audio & Video) as the future of the web and a very important service when it comes to web solution. I’m intending to offer Multimedia services as I get to a competent level of knowledge and experience.

By 11.2009 I Officially found my company Al-Adham Web Solutions as an Egyptian business organization.

By 12.2009 I joined a Creative Digital Marketing Agency – based in Egypt; My job mainly focused on Web Development and Social Media Marketing for high-profile clients in Egypt. Ended the contract by the end of 04.2010 to focus on my own business.

By 02.2010 I finished the “Competent Communicator” track with ToastMasters Cairo Club and started getting into the advanced communicator bronze by going through the “Professional Speaker” and “Technical Speaker” tracks.

By 03.2010 I started a “Technical and Statistical Analysis for Stock Exchanges” training course at the institute of statistical studies and research at Cairo University and reached the intermediate level in technical analysis.

By 05.2010 Become full time dedicated to the growth of my business Al-Adham Web Solutions, finished all official papers and started the journey for raising funds for our initial requirements and executing a plan to get listed on the small businesses stock exchange Nilex.
